I am back! After taking a year off to finish writing my book I am finally back to updating this blog and writing articles for my online magazine, The Healthy Moms Magazine. My manuscript is complete and it is currently going through the editing process. I  will let all of you know when it will be published as soon as I can. Goodbye 2014 What a Year it Was!

Today is December 28 and I am thinking back at the past year. Below is just a recap of what we did in 2014. In January my dad turned 70.  I flew out to Wisconsin from Spokane, Washington to surprise him, leaving all five kids behind.  Yes, I took a Vacation Away from the Kids. What is in Store for the Zoo in 2014?

2014.  A new year, new beginnings and hopefully a more positive outlook for the future.  What are the plans for the Talbert Zoo in 2014? Just thinking about the new year gives me mixed feelings.  I am terrified of what could or might happen in the upcoming year.
