Cascia Talbert, known as the country flutist on YouTube, is a professional performer, composer, arranger and music teacher. She studied music and flute at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater graduating with a BA in 2001. While in college she performed in the flute choir and played piccolo with the marching band and concert band.
She started teaching private flute lessons in 1998 while in college. Cascia has over 30 years of performance experience playing her flute and singing with church choirs, weddings, private gatherings and currently with a local Christian band. Along with performing she writes and arranges music for flute. You can watch her performances on YouTube @casciatalbertmusic6739.
Currently, she teaches private flute at Music Makers for Life, Inc in Crystal Lake, IL. Cascia teaches her students the basics, scales and technique while making playing the flute fun. Her students learn a variety of genres from pop, jazz, classical, film and country. In 2024 she is offering virtual private lessons.
