On Vacation...Sort of

I’m going to put the Talbert Zoo on hold for a bit while I spend more time growing my main blog. Healthy Moms Magazine is my first blog and the site that I depend on for weekly paychecks.

After I switched over to WordPress and changed my URL my traffic went down 600%. All the experts that I spoke with about my website suggested that I switch to WordPress. They all said that WordPress is more SEO friendly than blogger, so I should get an increase in search engine traffic after switching. Instead, I noticed a decrease. Because my site is an educational site for moms, I depend on the search engines. Therefore, I need to take time away from Talbert Zoo and focus more on my main blog for a few months.

I am going to continue to read and comment on the blogs in my feed reader and post Wordless Wednesday on a Tuesday, but you will not find updates on my family life here for a while.
