#WordlessWednesday with #linky on a Tuesday – The Birthday Boy

Wordless Wednesday is live on thehealthymoms.net and talbertzoo.com. Link up to your Wordless Wednesday post.

Parrot’s birthday was on Friday. I made him a plants vs zombies cake. I love making birthday cakes. We had cake, ice cream and he opened one small gift from his dad. I also made my famous tuna casserole for dinner.

I wish I had more time to write in my blogs and read your blogs. This summer has been crazy busy and I’ve been going non stop. First we moved. Then we drove out to California to visit my in-laws. Now, I am buried in boxes, laundry, and the kids are at a Catholic bible camp this week.  I also have two July birthdays and am planning a garage sale for the second week in August. I don’t know how I even find time to sleep and eat. Hopefully soon life will slow down and I will get back into a regular blogging routine. Right now I just can not keep up.

It is frusterating and the more unread blog posts appear on my feed reader, the guiltier I feel. I miss all of you guys. I don’t have very many friends in real life. I can’t pick up my cell phone and call a girl friend and ask her to come over for a glass of wine. My friends are all of you. And I miss you guys. I just don’t have very much free time. It sucks!

I give, give and give some more to my kids. Give to my husband. Wake up to noise before 6 am. Then I drink my coffee alone. Fix breakfast for the kids. Eat my breakfast. Wake my oldest so I can escape to go for a run. Listen to her wine and complain about being tired when I return from my run. By the way, she is usually in the same place on the couch in the living room as I left her. I manage to get my shower in every day before lunch. By eleven my boys who wake before 6am are starving for lunch. I make them lunch, throw a load of laundry on, put my youngest down for a nap. Before I know it, it’s 1 o’clock and I haven’t eaten lunch or even checked my e mails, let alone write a blog post. This blogging thing that I have grown to love over the past 8 years is going to become a distant memory as long as my kids keep demanding my attention. It’s a good thing I don’t have any friends. I wouldn’t have time for them anyway.

Thanks for reading my rant. Now I need to dig through some boxes in my garage to look for a toy that my kids no longer need, but another family wants. I hope I can find it.

I am so sorry that I haven’t been commenting on your blogs as much as I usually do. I still have my feed reader, but I lack the time to comment as I used to. I am still struggling with time management. It is especially difficult when the kids are home for the summer. I save all my comments in my e mail so I am able to reply and comment back when I get the free time. Hopefully, that will happen soon. I miss reading all of your blogs!
