Here I am once again typing on Wednesday night, and trying to recall the events of yesterday. Here is the continuation of the Talbert Zoo’s Florida Vacation.
On Tuesday the kids wanted to play in the pool in the morning. I thought it was too cold, so I opted to sit down, relax and take pictures. Besides, I woke that morning with a sore throat and felt a cold coming on. We also heard rumors that it snowed back in Chicago on Tuesday, or maybe it was Monday. Anyway, we didn’t care because we got to bask in the sun in Florida.
After the pool we drove out to the island to visit Grandma and Grandpa and play on the beach and in the ocean. The waves were huge on Tuesday and I showed Kitty how to body surf. It really took me back to my childhood. I used to body surf in the Gulf of Mexico when I was Kitty’s age.

We ate in on Tuesday night and later that evening Chris and I took four of the kids down to the shops to get souveniers. Then we watched the sunset and went back to our hotel in Bradenton.
