The first week and a half of October was unseasonably warm here in Chicago. Our temperatures were in the 70’s and I think it confused the wildlife.
When I was out for a walk this weekend I saw a blue heron and some geese enjoying the beautiful weather in the pond by the bike trail.
Unfortunately, the nice weather didn’t last long. Autumn has returned to Chicago and our extended forecast is predicting normal temperatures for October.
