Weekend Reflection- Too Much to Do So Little Time

http://digg.com/tools/diggthis.js

This week has been a nuts, crazy went by way too quickly kind of week. I worked Monday-Thursday at a store in Roseville. We got through the whole project a lot faster than expected. Tomorrow we are headed to Auburn. With the way gas prices are going I am not looking forward to the half hour drive every day. My husband figured it out by the end of the week it will cost me about $50 in gas to drive there and back. Hopefully we can get that store done as quickly as we did the one in Roseville. I offered to give a co worker a ride there and back if he could pitch in on gas but when he returned my phone call he hung up on me.

Courtney finished the school year on Thursday. She also received the top academic award for her class. I am so proud of her! I can’t believe that I can now say that she is in sixth grade.

Ciara is quite the budding artist. She got a hold of some chalk and scribbled all over the television one day. Then a couple of days later instead of going to sleep she took some markers and scribbled all over herself! I should have taken pictures. Next time.

Conan took two steps on his own today. I don’t know if it is going to drive me nuts when he is walking or if it will be helpful. Haven’t decided yet. He is getting heavy and hard to carry around. But I have heard that once they start walking sometimes they still want you to carry them around! He is also putting words together now which is really scary since he is only 10 1/2 months old.

Be ware of employment scams. My husband has been out of work for six months now. When he got a job offer at a car dealership this past week it sounded too good to be true. They invited him back for what they called, “training.” It wasn’t training at all. He sat through a sales presentation. They were trying to sell him the business of selling cars. All he needed to do was give them $500 to train him, then take a test that he may not pass, then give them $200 for his car sales licence. What a bunch of bull crap, excuse my language! I guess he is going to continue being Mr. Mom for now.
